Elmer E. Long passed away on December 20, 2017 at the age of 91.

He was the beloved husband of the late Audrey Oleta Long; He is survived by his three sons, Tom (Mary Jane) Long of Ballwin, MO, Steven (Jeanne) Long of Chesterfield, MO, David (Denise) Long of Greenfield, IN; 8 grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Alfred (Mary) Long of Cottleville, MO; daughter-in-law, Linda Long of Dardenne Prairie, MO; He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Long, father, Fred William Long, mother, Genevieve Lillian Long, son, Donald Long, sister, Lucille Stanley, granddaughter, Nicole Long.

Elmer proudly served our country in the Navy in World War II. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather. Elmer will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation, Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with service immediately following at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, Missouri 63385. Interment:  Friedens U.C.C. Cemetery,  Moscow Mills Missouri.
