Henry "Hank" F. Hindersmann

Henry "Hank" Hindersmann passed away at home on April 27, 2018 at the age of 76.

He was the beloved husband of Janet Hindersmann nee Schwoeppe of Augusta, Missouri; He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Dan) Brinkmann of Augusta, MO; son, Doug (Tonya) Hindersmann of Dutzow, MO; sister, Mae Gravemann of Washington, MO; three brother-in-laws, Norman (Barbara) Schwoeppe of Concord Hill, MO, Larry (Angie) Schwoeppe of Dutzow, MO, Ralph (Sue) Schwoeppe of Marthaville, MO; grandchildren, Ryan and Riley Durbin, Brady and Brea Hindersmann and Rebecca Brinkmann; As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Hindersmann, mother, Marie Hindersmann nee Kreienbaum, brother-in-law, Carl "Fritz" Gravemann.

Hank was a lifetime resident of Augusta and member of Immaculate Conception Church in Augusta, and a 4th degree Knight with Knights of Columbus. Hank was very involved in the community, and was on the Augusta Town Board. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, American Legion member Post 262, as well as a past Commander, member of the Elks Club, and a volunteer for the Augusta Fire Department. Hank cherished his family and grandkids. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.


Visitation: Monday, April 30, 2018, 3:30pm to 7:00pm at Pitman Funeral Home, Augusta, MO. Service: Tuesday, May 1, 2018, 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, Augusta, MO.
