Jim Elfrink

Jim Elfrink passed away on May 18, 2019 at the age of 71.

He is survived by his son, Steve (Mendy) Elfrink; daughter, Janette Elfrink; sister-in-law, Maureen Elfrink; brother, Orville (Kathleen) Elfrink; sister, Joan (Joseph) Monick; grandchildren Sarah, Abby, Kaila, Patricia, Alex, Miah, Dylan; great-grandchildren, Killian, Tinsley; He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph G. Elfrink, mother, Genevieve L. Elfrink (Steinnerd), brother, Ronald Elfrink. Jim was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in New Melle, Missouri attending daily mass, fish fries, etc. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 5651 in New Melle. He was a volunteer fireman, EMT, and served as Warren County Reserve Deputy. Jim worked as a carpenter building custom homes. He was a long-time resident of Lake Sherwood, Missouri. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed the wildlife, taking his annual trips, and spending time with his grandchildren. Jim will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation: Thursday, May 23, 2019, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM in Weber Hall at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 8 West Highway D, New Melle, Missouri 63365. Additional Visitation 9:00 AM -10:00 AM Friday, followed immediately by the funeral service at 10 AM at the church. Private interment.
