Betty J. Gildehaus (nee' Meyer), 83, of Marthasville, MO passed away Thursday, August 01, 2019.
She is survived by one daughter, Diane Gildehaus of Union, MO; three sons: Randy Gildehaus and wife Laurie, Jeff Gildehaus and wife Peggy, and Kurt Gildehaus and wife Lana, all of Marthasville, MO;
five sisters: Mary Fisher and husband Henry of Lake St. Louis, MO, Judy Ruether and husband John of Hawk Point, MO, Rosie Carpenter and husband Charles of Bluffton, SC, Lenora Eagan and husband Maurice of Shelbina, MO, and Helen Kleekamp and husband Gary of Marthasville, MO;
seven brothers: Theodore Meyer, Jr. and wife Rita, Larry Meyer and wife Rosie, both of Marthasville, MO, James Meyer and wife Alice of Valparaiso, IN, Bob Meyer and wife Marsha, Leo Meyer and wife, Myriam, Tom Meyer and wife, Diane, and Rich Meyer and wife, Aurie, all of Marthasville, MO;
two brothers-in-law, Jim Hellebusch of Marthasville, MO and Kenny Ackmann of Union, MO; one sister-in-law, Sandra Meyer of Washington, MO;
11 grandchildren: Jessica McBrayer (Kody), Ryan Gildehaus (Ashley), Jamie Groner (Brad), Sarah Howard (Ken), Jared Gildehaus (Jody), Robert Gildehaus, Andrew Gildehaus, Adam Gildehaus, Matt Westhoff (Jess Jennings), Ashley Wallace (Tegan), and Jake Westhoff (Brandi);
18 great-grandchildren: Owen and Parker McBrayer, Marissa, Landon, and Mason Gildehaus, Christopher, Claire, Madeline, Matthew, and Thomas Groner, Liesel Howard, Hannah, Emmett, and Austin Gildehaus, Kinsley and Nataly Westhoff, and Finley and Lenox Wallace; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 07, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Marthasville, MO with Rev. Steve Robeson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation for 83-year-old, Betty Gildehaus, will be held on Tuesday, August 06, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington, MO. A parish rosary will be prayed at 2:30 PM.
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Mrs. Gildehaus to Masses, ABiLITY-DSFC, The Friends Foundation, or Primero Agua-Honduras.
