Assumption Church in O’Fallon, Missouri. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in New Melle; where she often volunteered. She worked as a secretary and P.S.R. teacher at Immaculate Conception Church in Union, Missouri. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella- I.C. branch. Mary was very strong in her Catholic faith.

There's not a soul that Mary met that wasn't impacted by her love and generosity. She was insanely talented and her Faith in the Lord was unparalleled. In the coming days, weeks, months and years we will try to mimic her love for her family and God to help us get through this incredibly hard time. We're not sure yet how we'll make it through without our rock, our cornerstone, but we will persevere just as our strong Momma always taught us. You are so deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

She enjoyed making rosaries, writing poetry, and calligraphy. She was very artistic, a seamstress, master baker and a floral designer.

She was preceded in death by one son, Leo Aloysius, parents-in-law, Lambert and Florence Karll, and brother, Mark Strunk.
