Edna Lee Kunze, nee Stubblefield, 85, St. Peters, formerly of Marthasville, passed away peacefully in her home, Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022.

She was born Dec. 28, 1936, in St. James to the late William Stubblefield and wife Edna Mae, nee Borgman. Edna Lee was united in marriage to Harold Edwin Kunze on Nov. 26, 1983, in Marthasville. They spent 23 wonderful years together before his passing in 2007.

Edna Lee was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Marthasville and was on the church council. She also was part of the Women's Guild at the church. She was a hard worker and had a career with three companies, SECO, Phillip Transit and ZERO. She worked as an office administrator and then joined the union while at SECO and worked in the factory. Edna Lee enjoyed playing Bunco with her friends and also enjoyed the monthly "ladies lunch." Edna Lee had a special relationship with her granddaughter, Candace. Candace said "Grandma" was her best friend, and that was one of Edna Lee's greatest thrills. Edna Lee was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Tammy Lee Siem and husband Harvey; her granddaughter, Candace; one brother, William Stubblefield and wife Bonnie; two nephews, Greg Stubblefield and Steven Stubblefield and wife Susan; one great-niece, Sara Stubblefield; one great-nephew, Seth Stubblefield; other relatives and many friends.

Edna Lee was preceded in death by her husband and her parents, William and Edna Mae.

Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 12, from 9-11 a.m at St. Paul's U.C.C., Marthasville. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Don Deeker officiating.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Paul's U.C.C., in care Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383.
