Prepare yourselves for the ultimate throwback! Augusta is setting the scene for a classic Norman Rockwell Christmas. Follow the luminaries to participating businesses the first two Fridays in December from 5pm to 10pm.
Shops and galleries will be open - with some featuring special offers/activities. Enjoy delicious holiday fare and a bonfire at the Augusta Brew House, street food at the Harmonie Verein, hot soup and coffee at Oaks Crossing/Kate’s Coffee, and more.
There will be a Gingerbread House contest at the Visitors Center. Categories include “Local Landmarks” and “Heartwarming Houses”. Stop in to view the creativity and vote for your favorite. All judging will be “People’s Choice”. Commemorative ornaments, hoodies and t-shirts will also be for sale at the Visitors Center.
As you walk through town enjoy the extra effort so many of the town’s residents and businesses put forward for the holiday decorating contest sponsored by the Town Board and the Greater Augusta Chamber of Commerce.
It’s sure to be a spirit-filled event that will enhance your holiday experience.

Merchants in Augusta will be open Dec. 4 and 11, 5-10 p.m.
