2021 Wild & Scenic Film Festival

COLUMBIA, MO – The 11th annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival will be held virtually this year, taking place on Sunday, February 21st. Information, tickets and the complete film lineup can be found at www.riverrelief.org

This annual friend and fundraiser for nonprofit Missouri River Relief will bring the nation's premiere environmental & adventure touring film festival to audiences throughout the region. These films will take audiences to some of the most remote and beautiful places on the planet & encourage a deeper appreciation and sense of wonder for the natural world.

Considered one of the nation’s premiere environmental and adventure film festivals, this year’s films combine stellar film making, beautiful cinematography and first-rate storytelling to inform, inspire and ignite solutions and possibilities to restore the earth and human communities while creating a positive future for the next generation.

Virtual lobby doors will open at 6:30pm and films will run from 7:00 – 9:00, with an intermission.  The festival includes an online silent auction, running the entire week leading up to the festival, featuring beautiful artwork and unique experiences throughout Missouri. Several ticketing options are available including $5 Student & Educators, $10 General Admission, $25 Family Pack and several donation options.

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is an annual friend and fundraiser benefiting Missouri River Relief and serves to support the organization’s efforts to reconnect people to the Missouri River through hands-on river cleanups, education programs, and stewardship events. The film festival is possible due to the generous support of Johnston Paint & Decorating, Ozark Land Trust, Veterans United Home Loans, Columbia Convention & Visitors Bureau and Central Bank of Boone County.
