Augusta Harvest Festival September 16 & 17

Save the date for the 2022 Augusta Harvest Festival, September 16 & 17. The event kicks off Friday night the 16th with “Swinging in the Vines," a gourmet picnic at Honey Bee Vineyards, a private vineyard in Augusta.
Take a ride on a pumpkin wagon and then collect your picnic basket for two and your bottle of wine, (included.) Enjoy a port tasting in a historic wine cellar and dance under the stars to a live band. This will be an enchanted evening, come join us! Tickets on sale now, call 636-228-4005. All-inclusive cost of the evening is $125 for two people.

Saturday, September 17 starts with a 5K run, and the day includes a parade, the pie contest, children's activities, live music, a winery passport and much more. The parade begins at 10 a.m., there is a $25 entry fee for parade participants. There will be three categories, Town of Augusta, Most Humorous, and Best Transportation. The Grand Marshall this year is Gertie the goat. The parade route begins at Christ Lutheran Church heading east on Church Rd., then turning right on Hackman Rd., then left on Lower St., then right on Walnut, then right on Jackson St., the right on Locust St., back to Christ Lutheran Church. Fruit of the Harvest Dinner is on Saturday night from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Estates, 5634 High Street, Augusta. The dinner will feature a 5-course dinner paired with local wines, cost $150, and tickets are available at the Greater Augusta Chamber of Commerce, at www.augusta-chamber.org/event/2022-augusta-harvest-festival.
