Augusta Ramble Concert Series November 19

The Augusta Ramble Concert Series returns on Saturday, November 19, at 7 p.m. at Augusta Harmonie Verein, 5333 Hackman Rd. The doors open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets cost $12.

The Concert Series proudly presents two vibrant duos for an evening of women’s voices in song and harmony. Enjoy the collaboration of StellaLuna and The Gibson Girls as they bring you an eclectic mix of musical genres - from folk, blues, and classic rock to Americana, traditional, and 70s rock. Their contrasting vocal styles, instrumentation, and originality strive to transport you to a magical place.

Barbara Paulick and Teresa Nienhaus have played as the duo StellaLuna for 14 years. Formerly of The Momentary Girls, a 5-woman band, both are currently also part of Kaleidoscope, a 4-piece band. StellaLuna plays a variety of folk rock and classic rock tunes in their unique fashion. You'll hear old favorites and unexpected treats from Joni Mitchell to Led Zeppelin. Pat Frank has worked as a musician for the past 30 years. Her choice of songs rings true to her deep history of experience. Terri Brandt received a scholarship from the Missouri Folk Arts Council to be an apprentice to master fiddler Vesta Johnson. Learn more about The Gibson Girls at www.downstream2016.Wordpress.com.
