Join the Friends of Historic Augusta History Museum on Sunday, October 1, from 1 to 4 p.m., for our monthly open house featuring our inaugural Oktoberfest; this will mark the end of the season (except for the annual Christmas Walk and private tours.)
The Oktoberfest will be held outside the museum in the Friendship Garden. Dinner includes brats, sauerkraut, homemade potato salad and other German goodies. The dinner cost is a donation of $5 to $10 per plate.
The Oktoberfest will also feature a beer sampling from Good News Brewing, generously donated by Dan Tripp. Seating is limited, so please bring a lawn chair or blankets to relax in the beautiful garden. The Oktoberfest is weather permitting, but the museum will be open, rain or shine. Hope to see you there!
