Would you like the opportunity to redirect your tax dollars to a nonprofit agency and provide crucial funding for a necessary local project?

Bethel Hills in Dutzow provides accessible, affordable housing for people with and without developmental disabilities. This supportive community provides the opportunity for people to live life to the fullest in a setting designed to provide safety, support, and a sense of community and connection.

Bethel Hills has been approved for 70% tax credits through the Mo. Department of Economic Development Neighborhood Assistance Program. Donations from qualified donors will benefit the Bethel Hills project to make much-needed facility improvements. These improvements include repaving roads and replacing and repairing sidewalks and driveways, installing ADA-compliant power doors, and installing handrails on sidewalks for safe access for all residents.

Qualifying donors to this project may apply for the tax credits to be used to offset the eligible donor's state income tax liability, which is claimed when the donor files their Missouri tax return. The Bethel Hills project budget is $430,053, with a total of $301,037 in tax credits. The minimum donation for this project is $1,000 and is accepted as cash, check, or stock. Credits can be used over a 5-year period.

To date, 60% of the required donations for the project have been raised. However, they need to reach the 75% threshold to initiate the project, which requires approximately $55,000 worth of additional donations. A total of $170,000 will be needed to fully complete the project. If you would like more information, please reach out to Dennis at This email address is being protected from spambots.
