Billie Kramme Receives 2024 WOA Award

On May 14, Billie Kramme from the Bethel Hills Community was one of ten volunteers from the St. Louis region to receive the 2024 Women of Achievement (WOA) award.
Billie was honored for her volunteer work in Humanitarian Concerns. Billie Kramme is a registered nurse whose focus throughout her life has been enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities. In 2015, she helped organize a not-for-profit, faith-based organization to address the need for safe, supportive, accessible and affordable housing which now operates as Bethel Hills Community. Billie’s vision to create a supportive community of people with and without developmental disabilities who would share life together and where all abilities are accepted and valued has become a reality under her leadership. Billie directs the day-to-day operations of Bethel Hills, a 127-acre property currently serving 24 residents and growing.

Congratulations Billie - thank you for the hard work and dedication you have given to the Bethel Hills Community! To learn more, visit www.bethelhills.org.
