On August 3, the New Melle Chamber of Commerce (NMCC) and New Melle Sports and Rec (NMSR) hosted their annual Fundraising Golf Tournament at the Golf Club of Wentzville. The response was impressive, with 38 teams competing.
Funds raised through this annual event support the New Melle Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and ensure that New Melle Sports and Rec can continue to provide enriching sports programs and foster local talent in the community.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the over 150 golfers and the long list of sponsors who supported the 2024 Golf Tournament. A special thanks to everyone who gave their time organizing, promoting, and volunteering at the event. Thanks to your efforts, the 2024 Tournament was an overwhelming success. It was a perfect opportunity to spend time with friends and neighbors while supporting the youth of our community.
Thank you again, and mark your calendars for next year’s tournament on August 2, 2025.
