Augusta Postcards Are Back - Sales Surpass Expectations!

The Town of Augusta postcards are back. The 2024 postcards were revealed at the Augusta Harvest Festival on September 21. Residents and visitors alike purchased the cards. The Augusta postcards were popular in the 1970s. The debut sales surpassed expectations.

A new generation is growing up and appreciating the sights around Augusta. Many are sending postcards to highlight the wonders of the quaint, small country town to family and friends.

Most of the postcard pictures were submitted by winners of the various “Best of Augusta” Photo Contests. Each card includes a brief description on the back with photo credits.

The Wandering Owl Gift Shop across from the Town Square sells the postcards. A package of all 4 of the postcard designs is available, as well as each individual card. The store, operated by the Greater Augusta Chamber of Commerce, and is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The winning photos (below) were submitted by the following:  (L-R) The Town of Augusta Postcard with 5 photos by Ellie Hopen, Marilyn Kluesner, Kaye Coates, Tim Kampen and Ryleigh Rehmeier; Augusta Katy Trail Stop by Gay Eskew; Augusta Wine Country by Haily Griesenauer and Augusta Entrance Arbor by Liam Esarey.
