The New Melle Fire Protection District is hosting its 2nd Annual Pumpkin People Contest this October. Show off your creativity by decorating New Melle with your designs and displays of Pumpkin People at your home or business within the NMFPD. This year's theme is sports, but you can also surprise the judges with your own unique ideas.
There are only a few rules to follow for the contest. The Pumpkin People must have a pumpkin as their head(s), and you must live within the NMFPD to enter. Your entry must be submitted by October 18 by direct messaging a photo and blurb to the NMFPD through its Facebook page.
The photo with the most “likes” will win a Maracas Mexican Family Restaurant gift card. The prize will be hand-delivered to the winner by the NMFPD firefighters by firetruck. Voting will take place the week of October 21 - 25. The winner will be announced on October 27th.
