Day and night in Augusta! September’s “Best of Augusta” Photo Contest winners illustrate the many facets of “A Town for All Seasons.”
The winning photo, “Come Rock in Augusta,” presents sunshine and warmth in a pair of rockers. Many visitors and residents take advantage of sitting for a bit on the Wandering Owl's inviting porch. Congratulations to Marilyn Kluesner from Marthasville for capturing a nostalgic pastime.

In contrast, the runner-up photo focuses on a shot of the “Harmonie Verein Gazebo” at dusk. Congratulations to Judy Harrison of Augusta. Her unique picture of a town's historic structure presents pleasing variations of light and dark, all in the right places.

Augusta Winery and the Augusta Town Board generously donated the prizes. Marilyn chose the $50 cash prize from the Town of Augusta. As the runner-up, Judy was thrilled to win a wine tasting for ten at Augusta Winery, complete with a charcuterie board.
Great photos Marilyn and Judy!
Coming up next month are the winning photos from the fall Kids’ “Best of Augusta” Photo Contest. See what captures the attention of Gen Z kids 12 and under!
