42nd Augusta Christmas Candlelight Walks

On Fridays, December 6 and 13, Augusta hosted the 42nd Annual Christmas Candlelight Walks. The Town was illuminated with 1,000 luminaries, while the newly renovated Town Square, featuring a new gazebo, was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There were many activities for visitors. They could enter the scavenger hunt for a chance to win prizes, enjoy local food, drinks, and wine, or one of the many food trucks, listen to live music, chat with Santa, or go on a horse-drawn carriage ride. Guests could browse the shops and take in the sights of Augusta, possibly catching sight of a gingerbread man.

Augusta Elementary hosted a Christmas Market in the gym, where students sang carols while customers shopped. The Augusta Library provided a comfortable spot to warm up, create a quick craft, or browse the fantastic selection of books and other items.

It is a magical event and a perfect chance to explore Augusta while getting in the Christmas spirit.

The Greater Augusta Chamber would like to thank all the sponsors, business owners, vendors, and volunteers, including those who placed and picked up 1,000 luminaries each weekend. Thank you to all the visitors who came to Town and experienced the 42nd Annual Augusta Christmas Candlelight Walks.
