In December, Blondin Real Estate held its 10th Annual Light Up New Melle contest, open to residents of the New Melle Fire Protection District. Judging took place on the evening of December 19, with judges from Blondin Real Estate driving around the area to all the entries to choose the winners for each category. Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Connor Ct. Lane, New Melle) was awarded the title of most festive subdivision. The other category winners are listed below.
