This past November, Scout Troop 856 in New Melle participated in Scouting For Food in our community. On November 16 and 17, troop members dropped off bags at residents' homes and after Masses at IHM Church in New Melle.
They collected the filled bags the following weekend. The Troop collected 6,107 items, which were donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at IHM Church.
The troop members are truly grateful for all the generous donations that helped make this holiday season brighter for those in need. Thank you for your kindness and support!
