Batteries are a major safety hazard. Recently, loads, dumpsters, and trash cans have caught fire due to lithium batteries. Lithium batteries should not be placed in your trash or recycling containers or your commercial dumpsters.
Lithium batteries can be recycled at Lowe’s, Home Depot, or the St. Charles County Recycle Works. Recycle Works Central is located at 60 Triad South Dr, St. Charles, MO 63304 or Recycle Works West is located at 2110 East Pitman Avenue, Wentzville, MO 63385. We appreciate your help regarding this matter and look forward to serving you.
