We have had a busy start to the 2025-26 4-H year! We elected our new officer team for the year: President, Brayden Bynum; Vice President, Bransen Bynum; Secretary, Madi Coulter; Treasurer, Jack Lyons; Council Rep, Alex Bollman; Reporter and Photographer, Aidan Lyons; Historian, Riley Carlstrom; and Recreation Chair, Elaina Buescher.
We also conducted our fall fundraiser selling more than 400 items! In November, we helped with the luminaries at the New Melle Country Christmas. December was full of holiday fun with our participation in the Defiance Christmas Parade and hosting our annual Christmas party. At our holiday party, we had a potluck and plenty of games and crafts and we collected toys for the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
In January, we started planning the remainder of our year and discussed first aid. We are looking forward to many fun activities coming up yet this winter and into the spring!
