I truly appreciate the incredible work of the New Melle Fire Department and the dedicated responders from the Wentzville Fire Protection District, Augusta Fire Protection District, and St. Charles County Ambulance District who responded to my home early on February 5 during a house fire.
Their professionalism and skill were exemplary, and I am deeply grateful for their efforts in saving my home and treasured belongings.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to Paramedic Andy for his care and for insisting that I stay in the ambulance until my son arrived. Thank you to his partner for his kindness and for offering me water.
