The Hunt for Hunger Program initiated last fall by local 4th grader David Neier resulted in 1,423 pounds of venison delivered to four local food pantries. David had set a goal of 500 pounds and is thrilled with the results! He sends out a huge thank you to all the hunters who donated deer; to Dan’s Country Meats for processing the deer, and to Share the Harvest for paying for the processing. All the food pantries were grateful for the donations. David is looking forward to next year and has set a new goal of 2000 pounds for 2018. Thank you again to everyone who helped make the program a huge success!!
