The Quarry Wine Garden in New Melle opened February 15, 2018. Featuring a full service bar and restaurant overlooking a crystal clear spring fed quarry lake, the venue offers a setting unlike anything else in Missouri wine country.
General Manager, Michael Yonovak, brings 30 years of experience in the restaurant/hotel industry, including stints at high profile venues such as the St. Louis Chaifetz Arena, and locally, at the former Wine Country Gardens in Defiance. Teaming up with Yonovak is executive chef Marc Cook, former head chef at the Forest Park Boathouse. Cook and a few other staff members have also done stints at Wine Country Gardens. The menu, available online at www.quarrywinegarden.com, offers a wide selection of appetizers and entrees designed to appeal to a wide range of tastes: steaks, seafood, sandwiches, salads, soups, pizza, pasta...there’s something for everyone.
The full service bar features local and international wines and spirits, including wines from Small Batch Winery in Wentzville, Judgment Tree Vodka from Defiance, and name brand wines from California, Washington, Italy, New Zealand and more.
Live music is provided every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There is seating for 100+ available indoors, plus patio seating that will be expanded as the weather warms. Hours are Monday - Saturday: 11:00AM - 11:00PM (Kitchen closes at 9:00PM); Sunday: 11:00AM-9:00PM (Kitchen closes at 7:00PM.)
