Run for the Wall Riders Arrive May 31st - 30th Year For Event

The Run for the Wall bikers came through our area on May 21st - spending the night at the VFW Post in Wentzville on Hwy. Z; and visiting the Vietnam Memorial on Pearce Blvd. in Wentzville the next morning. This was the 30th anniversary of the Run for the Wall®, which was founded by Vietnam Veterans and recognizes the sacrifices and contributions made by ALL VETERANS who have served our nation. “We Ride for Those Who Can’t.” is their mantra. The ride started in California on May 17 and ended in Washington D.C. on May 26. We thank Sharon Wolf and Ida Hoffmann Randall for sharing photos!
