The Augusta Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) will host its 6th Annual Dinner Auction on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the Augusta American Legion Post 262 Hall/Harmonie-Verein Cultural Arts Center. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Dinner served around 7:00 p.m. Live auction about 8:15 p.m. This year, the PTO is very excited to feature the culinary skills of Cafe Mosaic with their Fire Roasted BBQ Chicken Thighs, BBQ Beef Brisket, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans with Sauteed Onions and Bacon, Tossed Garden Salad and Corn Bread Muffins. The evening’s menu caters to the “Western” theme, which the school will also be using as its Positive Behavior Incentive System (PBIS) throughout this school year. The Dinner Auction Tickets are $35 each, for ages 21+, and includes a full open bar.
Within the first five years, with the kind and generous support from the community, the PTO has raised nearly $100,000 which has been put toward technological enhancements, classroom improvements, and playground improvements for the deserving students at Augusta Elementary School.
