The Augusta Elementary PTO would like to express its sincere gratitude to the local area businesses and organizations whom sponsored or donated items in support of our 6th Annual Dinner Auction which was held on November 3, 2018 at the Augusta Harmonie-Verein/American Legion Post 262 Hall.  

Approximately $20,000 was raised at the dinner auction and from student sales of raffle tickets. The money raised will be used to continue playground improvements, as well as many other enhancements to the school building and classrooms during the school year.

The PTO would also like to thank Café Mosaic located in Washington, for catering an outstanding meal! Additionally, Mike Peters for being our live auctioneer for the evening. A special thanks to the Gold Sponsors who were: Sugar Creek Winery, Defiance; Judgment Tree Distillery, Defiance; Peoples Savings Bank, New Melle; Greater Augusta Chamber of Commerce. In addition, students sold raffle tickets for three raffle drawings over a two-month time frame, which also contributed greatly to the success of the PTO’s fundraising efforts.           The Raffle Sponsors were: Howell & Sons Excavating, Defiance; Rehmeier Farms, Augusta; the Greater Augusta Chamber of Commerce; and Peoples Savings Bank, New Melle.

Finally, the PTO would like to thank the numerous donors who contributed items for the live and silent auctions for the event. The continued support of the community is so extremely valued and appreciated.

Augusta Elementary, with just under 140 students in its K through 6th grade classes, serves students within southwest St. Charles County and the greater Lake Sherwood area of Warren County, and is within the School District of Washington.
