The next “Tell It Like It Was” event in Augusta will be Tuesday, Sept 17th and will feature Bob Struckhoff, Chief of the Augusta Community Volunteer Fire Dept. and lifelong farmer. The live interview will take place at the Visitors Center starting at 6:30 p.m. A panel of interviewers will ask questions related to what life was like in Augusta and the surrounding area in years gone by. The public is invited to attend and ask questions of their own. The interviews are video recorded and will be given to The Friends of Historic Augusta museum. “Tell it Like it Was” interviews are planned for the third Tuesday of each month. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
