Anniversary Celebration—Good Food, Good Music, Good Company

The combined 175th Anniversary Celebration of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and New  Melle’s 180th Anniversary provided a great opportunity for an enjoyable, relaxing afternoon of good food, good music, and good company.

Seeing friends, reminiscing over old photos, learning some history about the town and the church, sharing memories, watching the blacksmith, playing in the corn bin, playing games, looking at trucks and tractors, a beautiful quilt display, historical organ music – the afternoon had a little something for everyone. The church and planning committee thank all who attended and all those who helped in any way.

Special thanks to all the businesses and organizations that contributed or participated, the vendors, the exhibitors, and attendance prize donors. The attendance prize raffle generated over $300 and over 30 canned items for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Thank you!
