Dr. Peter Kreeft to Visit Immaculate Heart of Mary Nov. 24th

Peter John Kreeft, Ph.D. is a Professor of Philosophy at Boston College and The King’s College. Called the “C.S. Lewis of our times,” Kreeft is the author of close to 100 books on Christian philosophy, theology and apologetics.

Addressing topics such as faith, reason, culture, morality and the like, Kreeft has been an influential voice to believers and skeptics alike. He will visit Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 8 West Hwy. D, New Melle, on Sunday, Nov. 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

The basic format of the day will be a diagnosis and a prescription  –fitting for a “Doctor” helping us to “see” today’s Culture in the Light of Faith. First will be the diagnosis, “What are we up against?” and then the prescription, “What are we to do?” Following these two short presentations, there will be an ample period for questions and answers.
