Cuivre River Electric Cooperative to reopen its lobbies and drive-throughs on June 1

Troy, Mo., (May 26, 2020) – On Monday, June 1, Cuivre River Electric Cooperative (CREC) will reopen its offices located in Troy and Lake Saint Louis to the public. Members may transact their co-op business in person in CREC lobbies or at drive-throughs, however, social distancing practices will be in place.

“For the safety of both our members and our employees, it is important that we continue following social distancing guidelines,” says General Manager/CEO Doug Tracy. “We will limit the number of visitors in the lobby. Floor markings will be in place to maintain six feet of space between members waiting to be served. Protective counter barriers have been installed, and we’ll continue handwashing, sanitizing, and disinfecting surfaces properly.”

Visitors to the lobbies and drive-throughs at CREC offices are not required to wear a mask, however, CREC asks that if you are ill to not enter the building. Any members who are not comfortable with conducting business in person still have the option of doing so online or by phone.
