St. Charles County COVID Update June 24

As of June 24, St. Charles County, Missouri is reporting 988 positive cases of COVID-19. That's up from 933 cases as of June 18, the last date we published a report.

There have been 6 new COVID-19 related deaths (a female in her 90s, a female in her 80s, 2 females in their 70s, and two males in their 80s) in the county since June 18, bringing the total to 73.

The number of persons released from quarantine increased to 2,368, up from 2,295on June 18.

Those currently in quarantine remains at 547, the same number reported on June 18.

There are currently 0 tests pending at the Missouri State Laboratory.

The number of negative test results are 14,412, up from 14,410 on June 18.

St. Charles County to Follow Missouri’s Show Me Strong Recovery Plan

On June 15, St. Charles County Executive Steve Ehlmann announced that the county would follow Phase 2 of Missouri’s Show Me Strong Recovery plan, outlined by Governor Mike Parson. Phase 2 lifts previously issued restrictions. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Department of Public Health encourages individuals to continue precautionary actions, including:

  • Social distancing.
  • Avoiding large crowds.
  • Wearing face coverings in public settings.
  • Washing hands and surfaces.
  • Staying home when sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

Missouri Department of Mental Health Establishes Show Me Hope Line

The Missouri Department of Mental Health has established the Show Me Hope phone network for those experiencing stress and anxiety related to COVID-19. By calling (800) 985-5990 or texting “TalkWithUs” to 66746, an individual can speak with a trained crisis counselor. This is a free, confidential and multilingual service that provides counseling, referrals and other support services. The service also provides support materials that may be downloaded.


St. Charles County Updates COVID-19 Website to Introduce New Data Dashboard

The St. Charles County COVID-19 website has been improved to offer a new data dashboard. Found online at, the dashboard features graphs and data depicting positive cases reported by Zip Code and by demographics, details about 14-day case trends and more. The dashboard is updated regularly.

St. Charles County’s COVID-19 Information Hotline at (636) 949-1899 is answered from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mon-Fri. In addition, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services operates a 24-hour COVID-19 hotline at (877) 435-8411.
