COVID-19 Vaccine Information for St. Charles County

From the St. Charles County Website Feb. 1, 2021

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine is distributed to states by the federal government. It is then the state’s responsibility to distribute doses to providers.

Earlier this year, each state was charged by the federal government with developing a vaccine distribution plan. All distribution of vaccine in Missouri is pursuant to the State’s plan ( The state currently is vaccinating those in Phase 1A, and Phase 1B, Tiers 1 and 2.

The St. Charles County Department of Public Health (DPH) continues to vaccinate those within eligible categories when vaccine is made available to us. We currently are vaccinating those in Phase 1A and 1B, have placed an order for more vaccine and will move to the next phases according to the state plan and when vaccine becomes available. To accommodate this, we are providing the link below to allow you to sign up so that, when your phase is reached, you can be contacted to receive the vaccination. Whatever phase you are in, you can sign up NOW to be placed in a virtual queue. We urge you to also sign up through your health care provider’s hospital affiliation (such as SSM, Mercy or BJC) so that you can receive a vaccination in the timeliest manner. If you receive a vaccine from one provider, you can inform other providers that may contact you that you have already received it.

To register with the County, click on the link below and fill out the survey. You may be contacted by the DPH to verify eligibility. You will be notified to schedule an appointment when vaccine becomes available and you are eligible to be vaccinated according to the phased distribution plan. The vaccine is distributed at no cost to recipients through the federal government.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION. PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING: Sharing the link you receive when it is time for you to make an appointment that allows you to sign up for your vaccine CANNOT be shared with others. This link will be sent to you when it is time to make an appointment; you will not receive an email after registration. Everyone must receive an original, legitimate email from the St. Charles County Department of Public Health to qualify for a vaccine appointment. Those who have not gone through the registration process and have not received an original email will NOT be able to receive a vaccine at our mass distribution center. We continue to follow the state’s vaccine distribution plan and will follow the phases as the state announces eligibility and as vaccine is available.
