New Melle Celebrates 42 Years of Community Thanksgiving

Approximately 60 people attended the New Melle Community Thanksgiving service hosted at St. John's UCC on November 23rd. This was the 42nd year that this community tradition has taken place, bringing together members from five area congregations to celebrate our common beliefs and our community.

It was an uplifting ceremony that reminded us of God's love, His grace and blessings, and to count our blessings because gratefulness leads to joyfulness. The annual New Melle Community Thanksgiving service is traditionally the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and next year, the host congregation will be Shiloh United Methodist on Hwy. T in Foristell.
