On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, Ruth Busdieker with the Boone Duden Historical Society (BDHS) gave a presentation to the Wentzville Historical Society on the History of New Melle.
The presentation centered around a slide show that included photos and maps of early New Melle, and information on some of the buildings and organizations in town. The BDHS maintains archives in New Melle in the Kamphoefner House, 3656 Mill Street. The museum is open on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month from 12:30 to 4 p.m. (except April 24th because of the special meeting and presentation in Marthasville, "Two Hundred years of Notorious Crimes in the Show-Me State".
