On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, Augusta resident and mother of three, Amber Scott, suffered serious head/spinal injuries in a traffic crash on Augusta Bottom Road. She was flown by ARCH Air Medical to a trauma center and remains in Intensive Care. Donations to help with medical expenses are being collected via Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Augusta.
