The New Melle Festival Parade kicked off the festival's final day on Saturday, June 11. Serving as Grand Marshall this year was Kevin Armour, Principle of Daniel Boone Elementary.  Several fantastic floats entered the parade with a “Cartoon” theme this year.
The winner was Harvest Bloom Photography for their Scooby-Doo themed float. They did an impressive job and had great characters from the cartoon; they even had a fog machine. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated in this longstanding community tradition!
