Boone Country Connection Under New Ownership

By Dianne Sudbrock

Effective with the July 2022 issue, Floyd and Kathy Miller take over ownership and full editorial responsibilities of the Boone Country Connection. Floyd and Kathy have been involved with the paper behind the scenes since the very first issue was published in July 2000. They print and assemble the Boone Country Connection every month through their existing company, Direct Ads Printing and Website Design. Since 2011 they have designed, hosted and published all the content on the BCC website, boonecountryconnection.com. In January 2021, they took on the layout and typesetting duties. And since June 2021, they have been covering events and taking on all other responsibilities in preparation for assuming ownership.

Floyd grew up in Lake St. Louis and Defiance; Kathy grew up in Harvester. They both graduated from Francis Howell High School and are familiar with our coverage area. Over this past year, they have met many people in the community and appreciate the warm welcome they have received. They look forward to meeting more of you in the months and years ahead.

To all who have supported the paper these past 22 years, Thank you! It has been a pleasure getting to know so many of you. I appreciate the relationships we’ve developed over the years, and feel blessed to call many of our loyal readers and advertisers personal friends.

I am confident I leave the Boone Country Connection in good hands and that the paper will continue to be a vital asset to the communities we serve for many years to come.
Advertisers and subscribers: please note that invoices for your ads or subscriptions will now come from Direct Ads Printing. If you prepaid for the entire year in January 2022, you will not be billed again until January 2023.
