Augusta Community Rallies for Area Food Pantries

In these trying times, the Augusta area churches and organizations raised $1,065 in cash donations and collected 22 large boxes of nonperishable food items. These donations will support the Augusta Community Outdoor Food Pantry, St. Vincent de Paul Pantry in New Melle and The Southern Warren & St. Charles County Food Pantry in Marthasville.
The collection was sponsored by Ebenezer UCC, Immaculate Conception, Christ Lutheran, True Vine Fellowship and the Mid-America Buddhist Association. Thanks to the many businesses that helped in collecting the donations.

The Augusta Community Food Pantry Collection is an annual event, so watch for collection cans and food boxes next year. Many thanks to all who donated items, money and time to make the food drive successful.
