On August 13, 2022, Megan Coyne and her family, friends, staff, and the community, helped celebrate the Grand Opening and renaming of Deja Du to “Designs by Meg.” The celebration included free drawings, vendors, food truck, cupcakes and a nice turnout from the community to welcome Meg to Defiance. The salon has a new look, so stop by and check it out. Megan would like to thank everyone who participated in the grand opening.
Meg has ten years of experience and specializes in color and extensions. She had her own business for five years before buying Deja Du.
Nancy has worked in the salon, Deja-Du, for nearly 30 years with previous owner Kim and has 45 years of experience in the industry.
Nancy is taking on an adventure with the new owner Megan Coyne and is looking for new clients. She enjoys working with people and says it seems more like a friendship than a business.
Stacie has been a nail tech for 32 years, 20 of which have been at this salon. I’m proud to say this has only been the 3rd salon I’ve ever worked in, and I still very much enjoy doing nails and meeting new clients! I work full-time at Augusta Winery, but I’m available for clients on evenings and Saturdays. She has made many great friendships in her years of working in the industry.
The salon is looking for two new stylists to join the team. Benefits include two weeks of free vacation yearly, and the first week's rent is free. Up to $100 in paid education annually; back bar and retail opportunities as well. Call Megan, for details, at (636) 696- 6490.
The stylists are independent, and we’re open by appointment. Walk-ins are welcome, if available. We love meeting the community.
