The Viewing of the Augusta 1955 Centennial Parade

Story and photos submitted by Angela Stephens

Thank you to everyone who came to watch the Centennial Town Parade, August 7th. Judy Renner was kind enough to bring her large TV screen and some treats. Once again, we gathered downstairs at the History Museum to watch the historic parade and tell stories.
Pat Baravik also brought her Sesquicentennial DVD (1855-2005) for all to enjoy. All together there were 22 people including Pat's 2 adorable granddaughters. What better way to enjoy our town's history than in our very own museum?
