On Saturday, September 10, St. Paul's UCC in Marthasville hosted the 5th annual Festival in the Ville with a Car and Bike Show. The Festival was held in the Marthasville City Park, and the Car and Bike Show lined the streets of downtown Marthasville.
It was a beautiful day, and the Festival started with the Kid’s Parade that made a lap around the town park. The kids decorated their entries which included bikes, scooters and powered ride-ons, and they did an outstanding job decorating their entries.
The City Park was filled with activities for everyone to enjoy. Cub Scout Pack 359 had a pinewood derby track set up for the crowd to try and also conducted a Flag Ceremony. If you are interested in joining the Cub Scouts in the Marthasville area, contact Sarah Scroggins at 913-579-8133 or

Other activities included a bounce house and slide, vendors, a corn-hole tournament, food and drink, fantastic music from the Shaun and Mike Show. There were 140 registered car show participants, with great cars and bikes displayed.
The volunteers from St. Paul’s UCC did an outstanding job hosting this entire event. They would like to thank the entire Marthasville Community for participating and supporting the event. Thanks to those who donated to the event, those who gave their time and energy, and those who put up with any inconvenience from the Festival.
