On Monday morning, October 11, The Venue at Wildflower Ridge held its ribbon cutting and sisters, Kate Willming - Venue Director and Hannah Bailey - Events Director, became one step closer to their dream becoming a reality. This venue is beautifully located in Marthasville and has a spectacular view, regardless of which direction you choose to look. For the ribbon cutting, Kate and Hannah were joined by their family and friends, along with the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce and other community members.
They purchased the property in January 2021; the venue is brand new and built from the ground up. The venue’s clean color scheme inside and out is white with black and wooden accents, allowing your colors to shine. It is a blank slate for you to decorate how you like, or if you need help, they offer a preferred vendor list, and design options are available. They have both worked in the industry and used that knowledge to design a venue that is not only beautiful but has a great flow and features.
This 10,000 sq. ft. venue sits on a 20-acre patch which wildflowers will fill on a 300-acre farm, and is one of the largest venues in the area, seating 320 comfortably. A few features besides the views are the shiplap walls, 25’ arch-top windows, cedar beams, a prep kitchen, an onsite bridal suite and a groom's room for the big day. Kate and Hannah, along with many others, have put in countless hours and a lot of hard work, which shows in the venue's quality.
