The Boone Country 4-H Club has been busy helping the community through many activities. In November, the club accepted donations from families to help show appreciation for our outstanding New Melle firefighters. Members collected cookies, drinks, bratwursts, and donations for a meal at Maracas restaurant.
4-Hers were also excited to help with the New Melle Country Christmas held on November 26. Members helped fill luminary bags with sand and a candle, as well as helped place the luminaries and lighting them on the day of the event.
The Boone Country 4-H is proud to be part of the New Melle community. If you know of any community service events we could help with, please let us know. If you are interested in joining 4-H please contact our club via Facebook at Boone Country 4-H Club.
