On November 28, 2022, the Masons Lodge in Defiance presented a check to The Augusta Fire Department in the amount of $1000. The Mason members raised the money from a benefit BBQ held on November 5, 2022. The Augusta Fire Department would like to thank the Masons Lodge for its generous donation and continued support. Also, thank you to everyone who attended the BBQ supporting the Augusta Fire Department.

The check was presented by Steve Phillips, Master of the Lodge. Accepting the check are Fire Chief Paul Hopen (center) and Assistant Chief John Freeman (right.)
