The Live Tell it Like it Was (TILIW) Live Series hosted by the Friends of Historic Augusta (FHA) interviewed Norbie Struckhoff on February 14 at the Harmonie Verein in Augusta. He spoke about being the Commander of American Legion Post 262, a 5th-generation Augusta farmer and the president of Bent Oak Insurance, formerly Farmer's Mutual. When asked how many “hats” he wears, he replied, “According to my closet, about 30. Haha.” There was an outstanding turnout; 45 people came to see Norbie on Valentine's Day. The crowd enjoyed the interview and homemade heart-shaped cookies.
The interviews are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Read more stories at www.augustamomuseum.com/tell-it-like-it-was-stories. Watch Norbie’s and other videos on the museum's YouTube page,
