The Augusta Community Food Drive will be taking donations through May 28. Help stock the shelves of local neighborhood food pantries, including Augusta Community Outdoor Food Pantry, St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry – New Melle, Southern Warren & St. Charles County Food Pantry – Marthasville.
Please only donate non-perishable items and no glass. A number of items are in high demand including peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit, cereal, tuna/canned meats, cake and brownie mixes, frosting, sugar, cooking oil, pancake syrup, mac and cheese, tea bags, creamer, ketchup, laundry detergent, bleach, paper products, and personal hygiene products.
Donations can be dropped off at S & R Convenience, K & R Market, Christ Lutheran, Immaculate Conception, Mid-American Buddhist Association, Bank of Dutzow, True Vine Fellowship, Ebenezer UCC and Augusta Shores (Berg House.)
For monetary donations, please make your check payable to Ebenezer UCC, 5541 Walnut Street, Augusta, MO, 63332. Be sure to include “Food Pantry” in the check memo. If you have questions, call Debbie Smith at 636-228-4831, Robert Aholt at 636-221-4601 or Ken Daming at 314-799-8698.
