On Saturday, September 9, the 2023 Festival in the Ville and St. Paul’s Car & Bike Show was held in the City Park and on the streets of Marthasville. It was a beautiful day and evening with an outstanding turnout.
The event included a flag ceremony, a kid's parade, a corn hole tournament, a display of trucks from the Marthasville Fire Department and a special appearance from the Oscar Meyer Frankmobile. The festival had live music from the outstanding Shaun & Mike Show during the day. The kids enjoyed the bounce house and slide, barrel train rides, face painting, games, and more. There was plenty of BBQ, carnival foods and drinks for everyone. *The Festival continued into the evening with live music from the GrayBeards, dancing, and food served by the American Legion Auxilliary. It was a chance for some of the volunteers to enjoy the festival.
Along with the Festival, the St. Paul Men’s group organized a huge car and bike show on the streets of Marthasville. There were 270 entries this year, that is double from the year before.
This event is put together each year to bring the community together, and it did just that this year. The turnout for the event far exceeded expectations, it is growing every year. This festival and car and bike show are made possible by all of the sponsors, donors, volunteers and everyone who attended; without that support this event would not be possible. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this year such a success!
