City of O'Fallon P&Z Meeting April 4 - Annexation Issue on Agenda - 1065 Hwy N (Post Family Farm)

Citizens for Smart Growth in St. Charles County is raising attention to the upcoming April 4 vote by the O'Fallon P&Z Commission on the annexation of the parcel, 1065 Hwy N (the Post Family Farm.)

The property is situated on the North side of Hwy N, just west of the Sports Barn. The O'Fallon P&Z Staff has recommended denying the annexation due to its inconsistency with the strategies and objectives of O'Fallon's 2021 Comprehensive plan. This proposal is similar to the proposed annexation of the “Tall Tree Farm” property along Hwy DD between Sommers and Diehr Roads. 

It's important to have a strong turnout at the meeting to demonstrate opposition to the annexation of the property and future properties. If anyone can attend the meeting, it would be beneficial to show support for P&Z denying the annexation. The City of O’Fallon P&Z meets on the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at O'Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall).
